The Sexual Harassment in the Workplace (SHIW) Project, funded by the Department of Justice Canada until March 2027, provides legal information and advice on sexual harassment in the workplace throughout all of Ontario. Kinna-aweya Legal Clinic works collaboratively with other community legal clinics to deliver SHIW Project services, including:
- Providing free, confidential legal advice and support to people experiencing sexual harassment in the workplace;
- Directing clients to outside resources for further assistance;
- Meaningful community outreach; and
- Public legal education.
